Important COVID-19 Update – May 2021

All remaining COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted in the state of Massachusetts effective May 29, 2021. This includes the Commonwealth’s face covering order (with a few key exceptions, such as public and private transportation systems, healthcare facilities and settings hosting vulnerable populations). To read the Governor’s full press release with details on the state’s vaccination progress and re-opening plan, click here.

The AFCNS Difference

Adult Foster Care of the North Shore provides financial and emotional support solutions for families who are in need of care for a disabled or chronically ill loved one.

Our passion, commitment and dedication can be seen in every one of our employees. When a client and/or caregiver works with Adult Foster Care, they become part of our professional family and acquire a true support system that provides consistent guidance, support and advice.

"There was just no way our daughter was not going to live with us.
We knew having her at home would restrict us but there was no other option in our mind. When we found AFCNS, our lives changed. They provided us with a team of professionals that created a plan for today and for the future.
And with their program, we were able to take our first vacation alone.
They changed our lives."

~ Mary and Bob, Caregivers to Daughter

What's New

Adult Foster Care of the North Shore staffers Lori-ann Giamanco and Kelly Beer, RN, put together baskets of crafts and games to be distributed to AFCNS families throughout Essex County.
